Crossing Patrol

This person will be employed by Wiltshire Council. The patroller will be paid £8.55 per hour (at grade B, point 7 on the Council’s payscale). They will work half an hour each morning and afternoon at the start and end of the school day, for 38 weeks and be paid for 43.51 weeks per year this would equate to £1860 per annum. The Council would be prepared to accept separate applications for morning and afternoon posts. The Council’s pension scheme is also open to this role. Full uniform and training is provided as well as regular site supervision and additional ad-hoc training as required. All patrollers are required to attend annual refresher training in person and undertake basic safeguarding training which can be conducted online. A full DBS will need to be completed every three years. Ideally the patroller will have some links with the school as they will play an important part in the school day for many children and be seen as part of the community. MDSA

We are looking to appoint an MDSA. The successful candidates will be required to join our lunchtime team to ensure the safety, welfare and good conduct of children during the lunchtime break.

Hours of work: Monday- Friday – 1.5 hours a day 11.45am -1.15pm Term time only

The MDSA post will be paid £8.55 per hour at grade B, point 7 on the Council’s pay scale paid for 43.51 weeks per year this would equate to £2790 per annum.
